The Shotokan Karate Academy of Napa club operates out of the Napa Valley Yoga Center at the corner of Jordan Lane and Industrial Blvd., behind Suscol Center Business Park. This facility is appropriately designed for the safe and comfortable practice of martial arts. A changing room and bathrooms are available on site. The Shotokan Karate Academy of Napa is a registered club of the International Shotokan Karate Federation (ISKF), Pacific Northwest Region. Chief Instructor: April Farnham-Morrison
Sensei April Farnham-Morrison, San Dan (third degree blackbelt), has been practicing the art of Shotokan under ISKF for 9 years and providing instruction to both youth and adults since 2017. She trained under Senseis Chela Morales-Placone and Rick Placone of ISKF at their former dojo "ASK of Napa". She is currently enrolled in the ISKF Certified Instructor Training program.
